Hi - I'm Coconut! I was surrendered to the CARE rescue in Wisconsin and came to the Refuge from there.

I am very choosy when it comes to the people I like. I do like to cuddle in towels, so this is a good way to spend time with me and get to know me. I get excited easily, so you should be very good at reading cockatoo body language if you want to spend time with me.

I absolutely love walnuts - they're the yummiest treat ever! I talk a lot, although it's not always easy to understand what I'm saying.

I love to spend time on the bottom of my cage and therefore need a lot of toys that are appropriate for floor playing. I'm quite smart and take great pleasure in learning how to dislodge my food and water dishes from their holders.
