Hi! My name is Maxine and I'm a Goffin's cockatoo. I'm a pretty girl who's already had a couple of homes and I'm looking for my forever home.

I have a best bird friend here at the Refuge. Her name is Rosie and she's a Moluccan cockatoo. We can play together for hours and not get sick of each other.

I love almonds - they're a really special treat.

I'm not too fond of birds with colors. I like cockatoos and I'm okay with the pink Moluccan cockatoos, but that's about as colorful as I'm willing to tolerate. Amazons, macaws and the likes are just too colorful for me.
